BIRTH OF AMERICA BOOKS (tm)

BOLD WOMEN, COLD GOLD, HARD MEN & HOT LEAD

[1869-1879]

REAL PEOPLE, TRUE STORIES

HISTORICALLY ACCURATE AND FUN TO READ

(They're written like novels with dialogue based on journals, diaries and newspapers)

HISTORY AS IT HAPPENS(tm) IN HIGH ACTION AMERICAN HISTORY BOOKS

Instead of the garden variety footnotes that confirm only a few propositions, our Gold Rush Trilogy features an innovative system invented by the authors that includes research notes with pages used from each and every reference supporting all portions of the text. Each bibliography reference has been issued a reference number [R#]. By providing the Reference number [R#] with the page number(s) in the order used for each Chapter, all research is ready for the reader, either to substantiate historical facts or to broaden a point of interest for about 93% of the text. The 7% exception is for text based on letters or delicate documents in archival storage, which cannot be mechanically copied because of the storing agency's restrictions, but may be the source for a researcher's hand written notes. Please see Research Notes below (following the Bibliography).
